Our Latest COVID-19 Update

Trust us— we're as tired of the pandemic restrictions & healthcare protocol changes as you are!

We've made a few updates to our COVID-19 policy. While we continue to learn about the variants and how the vaccines will affect the spread of COVID-19, we will continue to enforce our policy —including masks and social distancing— to protect the safety and well-being of our patients, providers, and staff. We hope that while the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out continues, we will once again be able to see your smiling faces in the not-too-distant future. We appreciate your understanding of, and adherence to, our COVID-19 policy.

COVID-19 Update

Patient, provider & staff safety is our #1 priority!

We hope that with the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out and the growing herd immunity, we will once again be able to see your smiling faces in the not-too-distant future. According to the CDC, we’re still learning how vaccines will affect the spread of COVID-19 and after becoming fully vaccinated, we should continue taking precautions—like wearing a mask, staying 6 feet apart from others, avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces—in public places until we know more.

While the vaccine roll-out continues, we appreciate your understanding of, and adherence to, our COVID-19 policy.

COVID-19 Update

The health and safety of our patients, providers, and staff is our #1 priority!

Trust us when we say that we are as tired of the pandemic restrictions and healthcare protocol changes as you are. We miss seeing your faces and hate not being able to welcome loved ones to your appointments.

However, just like schools are virtual and hospitals are restricting visitors to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, we must continue to do our part as well. Although our visitor/guest policy hasn’t changed since the start of the pandemic, we want to remind you that we must remain diligent in protecting our patients, many of whom are high risk with underlying health conditions.

Coronavirus Update - 04.08.20

The office will close on Wednesday, April 15th until further notice.

During the past two weeks, we have been treating high risk cancers with a very limited office schedule. After taking care of our patients, we have once again decided to close our office fully on Wednesday, April 15th until further notice. We made this decision in order to do our part to flatten the curve, protect our staff, patients and community.

If we are contacted by referring physicians in the community requesting treatments for high risk skin cancers, such as newly referred melanomas or squamous cell carcinomas, we will be happy to coordinate with individual patients to provide that treatment in the safest way possible during the pandemic—with new scheduling beginning in May.

Sun Safe Spring Break

Are you dreaming of spring break? You are not alone!

It’s a magical time of year where parents get to leave the cubicle and pile of work to-do’s behind and students get to abandon the books and homework in exchange for some quality time with family and friends. And what better way to spend this time together than soaking up the sun and taking advantage of the warmer sunnier days approaching?

Before heading out to your desired location—beach, campsite, mountaintop, backyard—there is one thing parents and spring breakers need to keep in mind: protecting your skin from the sun is paramount to your fun and your skin health! Without proper sun protection, your week-long getaway can turn into a week of pain and skin damage that can last longer than you might think.

Why Today is the Best Day to Schedule a Skin Screening

Why Today is the Best Day to Schedule a Skin Screening

For starters, a skin screening could save your life!

Summer is upon us. The season is full of hours outside gardening, grilling, swimming, relaxing and hitting the beach to kick it up in the sand and surf. You may love the time outside and adore the sun, but your skin does not, at least not as much as you do. Natural Vitamin D is a good thing, in healthy doses, to keep our bones strong, but too much exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays can wreak havoc on the body's largest organ, including -- freckles, sunspots, wrinkles, premature aging and skin cancer.
