Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8am until 5pm.
In the event of inclement winter weather, the office will be closed IF Henrico County Public School (HCPS) District closes their schools for the day. The HCPS school closings are announced on local television stations beginning at 6am. On the second day of the school closing, Dr. Rausch will determine all additional office closings and delayed openings. Our office staff will notify you with additional information concerning your appointment.
The following forms can be downloaded to your computer and printed at home. By filling out these forms ahead of time, you will save a significant amount of time during your visit. Please be prepared to provide this information to our office along with your current medical insurance information and a photo identification card. If you have any questions when filling out these forms, please do the best you can and our staff will assist you with your questions on the day of your visit.

Insurance and Billing Information
We participate with most insurance plans. Please call your insurance company's member services department to verify physician participation, coverage and network benefits, and patient responsibilities such as; copays, co-insurance and deductibles. The member services number is usually located on the back of your insurance card.
The patient is responsible for obtaining all referrals required by their insurance policy.
For all patients scheduled for Mohs surgery, you will need to provide the member services department of your insurance company with additional information to ensure maximum benefit coverage. They will need to know that you are scheduled for Mohs Surgery (procedure code 17311) for skin cancer (diagnosis code 173.9).
Notify your insurance company that the Ambulatory Surgical Center may be be utilized if you are covered by the insurance plans listed below. You may have a separate copay, co-insurance and deductible for the surgical center.
- Medicare (not required to notify)
- All supplemental insurance carriers
- Sentara / Optima Health
You and/or your insurance company may receive up to two (2) separate bills. One statement for the physician's professional fee and the other statement for the Ambulatory Surgery Center facility fee.
We do not want anyone denied medical care because of inability to pay. If you have difficulties understanding or paying your bill, we encourage you to contact our office and speak to our Patient Insurance Coordinator.
Dr. Christine Rausch participates with Access Now, which allows her to volunteer her specialty services to the eligible uninsured. Access Now vows "no patient goes without specialty care for want of a willing provider." To see if you qualify click here.

Copays are due at time of service and all co-insurance and deductibles are due 45 days from your statement date. All procedures not covered by your insurance policy are due at time of service.You will be charged a CANCELLATION FEE if less than 48 hours notice is given to cancel surgery. You will be charged a RETURN CHECK FEE of $35.00 for any check return for any reason. Payments that are mailed may take up to 10-14 business days to credit to your account.
We accept cash, check and credit cards.
Failure to meet your financial obligation will result in additional fees incurred to collect the balance owed on your account.
